How do I delete a OneNote notebook?
In the desktop version of OneNote 2016, you can right-click on one of the notebooks (open the left-hand menu by clicking on the name of the current notebook) and choose Close. However, this does not delete the notebook; to delete the notebook, you need to go to the location where it is saved – hopefully, OneDrive, select the NoteBook and click Delete

How do I fix OneNote when it will no longer sync on my Macbook?
NB. Any changes to your notebooks that have not been synchronised will with the cloud will be lost.
Open Finder and select Go from the menu. At this stage you may not see the item Library. To display it, use the drop down menu under GO.
- Delete this folder: ~/library/containers/com.microsoft.onenote.mac
- Delete this folder: ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/ and delete just the OneNote folder
- Reboot your Mac and start OneNote[/su_spoiler]
