Microsoft OneNote is part of the University’s suite of Microsoft applications available in Office 365. OneNote is freely available for all of your desktop and Mobile devices from OneNote.com or from the Microsoft Office portal (office.com)
With OneNote, you can type, hand write, draw, and clip things from the web to get down your thoughts into your electronic notebook. Use OneNote’s flexible canvas to place content anywhere you want. You can even scan hand written notes or pages straight into OneNote, then make them searchable.
Students studying Medicine may wish to review this guide (primarily for Year 1 students) on how OneNote Class Notebooks are used and accessed on the programme (UoB Login required)

The University has purchased access to high quality learning resources from Linkedin Learning (formerly Lynda.com), for staff and research postgraduates. They have lots of training resources on OneNote and Class OneNotes and we would recommend this as the first option for staff and research postgraduates. Link to Linkedin.
